My City so ruptured apart
Souls swiveled into monsters
of whose faces you can't take a gander.
A nation so terribly mangled
But it's too late to scape it.
A world so spooky
So unsafe and terrifying
With lost souls, with no mercy
If you step a foot outside, be on guard for anything
You can't claim to be the owner of
whatever,
It will all be taken in a blink of an eye.
How can something so real feel like a dream
So unbelievable yet so true.
In the Crucible the people lie,
Their lot in life
Doomed to die,
Condemned to waste for crimes accused
Though innocent, still misused.
Young boy with a knife, signs of the time
can't find a job
So he looks to crime,
with a small mouth to feed, but no income insight
From this world, he dreams to take flight.
